Biography Oscar V. Peterson
(1849-1919 gg.) - A prominent domestic venereology and dermatology. In 1874,. defended his doctoral thesis "On the experimental studies of the pathogenesis and treatment of cystitis". In 1886. headed the Department of Skin and Sexually Transmitted Diseases of the Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians in St. Petersburg in 1874. - Honorary Professor. Published over 100 scientific papers on various aspects of clinic and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (syphilis, . chancroid, . gonorrhea), and infectious skin diseases (leprosy, . leishmaniasis, . lupus), . as well as on the issues of combating these diseases, . including statistical studies of their prevalence in Russia: "On syphilis and venereal diseases in the cities of Russia" (1897), . "Collection of works on skin diseases, . syphilis, . venereal and other diseases for 1874-1899 gg. "(1900).,
