Biography Levin (Lewin) Kurt
(9.09.1890 - 12.02.1947) - German-American psychologist. He began his work in geshtaltpsihologicheskoy School, where he created a number of teaching situations for the pilot study and the requirement of the motivational-volitional human. Under his leadership worked: BV. Zeigarnik (the problem of forgetting the completed and uncompleted actions), GV. Birenbaum (forgetting intentions), T. Dembo (frustration), A. Karsten ( 'mental satiation'), F. Hoppe (level of claims). Based on these and other studies by Levin created the concept of 'topological psychology'. In 1933. Levin was forced to emigrate to the United States, where studied the problems of group dynamics. In the psychological school, established by Levin, introduced new concepts for psychology: kvazipotrebnost, psychological valence, living space, temporal perspective, the level of claims
