Biography Albert Charkin Serafimovich
Born December 16, 1937 in the Tula region Belyov. He graduated from the sculptural department of the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after Ilya Repin (1966).
Works in the field of monumental and decorative sculpture and easel. Author of numerous monuments, set in St. Petersburg, Germany and China.
Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1972. In 1997 he was elected chairman of the Union of Artists of St. Petersburg. He was awarded a Certificate of Honor Leningrad City Executive Committee for the successful execution of works on creation of the obelisk hero-city of Leningrad in the Uprising Square.
Honored Artist of Russia (1997).
