... At first glance, his incisive engraving on copper frankly boring. They get lost in any exhibition. Looking at them, willy-nilly vzdohnesh of bygone pore Edelinka and Rullo. But a series of "Landscapes of the Crimea". Suddenly the bump on the two landscapes are very cleverly drawn, and, most surprisingly, well skompanovannyh. Sergey Chernyshev bravely takes on many of the graphic techniques. In the technical sense of the incisal engravings on copper the most successful - are two "Nu", "Gladiolus" from series "Flowers". But he also engraves on wood, and not only at the end, but also on the longitudinal board ... These engravings - a wonderful result of all the stubborn pursuit of the artist, the result seems to be random, but the more fortunate.
