Biography Bunin Leonti
On January 21, 1699, Mr.. Bunin was entrusted the printing of seals on stamped paper, "for what things bought from him, Bunin, an iron mill for 15 rubles. Leonti Bunin, as all the first Russian engravers (Tarasevich, Schirsky, Galahovsky - in Kyiv) on copper, copied from foreign models, mostly by Dutch artists. An engraving of it is foul and worked quickly. Bunin's best works are in Synodikon, printed in the list, in 1670 - 1680 years. In 1692 - 94 years Bunin engraved sheet 43 in a remarkable Primer monk Karion Istomin. The last leaf bears the title "Thank God, the top saver (Jesus Christ), at the bottom:" These are the ABC schini Hieromonk Karion - and signs and cut Leonti Bunin 7202 "(1694). List "Monk Gerasim" noted: "1714. Leonti Bunin. Later markers not found. Of the other engravings said: "The Passion of the Lord" 19 sheets, copied from a Dutch Bible in 1674, "Savior" - full height with a cross in his left hand, etc.
