Biography VARNEK Nikolai
Born in 1823, Mr.. Educated at St. Petersburg University, graduating in 1846, Mr.. the degree candidate and the next 1,847 g. awarded a master's degree Zoology. From 1846 to 1849. VARNEK taught botany and zoology in the body of mining engineers, and in 1849. was transferred to Moscow University assistant professor in the department of comparative anatomy and physiology, and in 1852,. - Correcting the position of extraordinary professor in the same department. In 1860, Mr.. VARNEK resigned, and in the same year was appointed director of the College of Tver Province. In 1863, Mr.. VARNEK reckoned to the Ministry of Education with the dismissal from office. Major works Warnecke: "Ueber die Bildung und Entwickelung des Embryos bei Gasteropoden" ( "Bull. Soc. Natur. ", Moscow, XXIII, 1850)," Ueber den Furchungsprocess und die Struktur des Eies der Gasteropoden "(" Froriep's Tagsber. ", N 280, 1851). Died in 1876. E. Brandt.
