Nikolai Valuev conquered Champion belt by one hand
World boxing champion in super heavyweight category in WBA version Russian Nikolai Valuev fought with American John Ruis by one arm. Right arm of Russian boxer was injured, but this information was concealed, so the rival couldn`t use the advantage.
Unofficial sources informed that Valuev acquired arm injury long before the battle. Experts, commenting the fight, which took place in "Max Schmeling Hall" in Berlin, emphasized that Valuev almost didn`t use right arm during the battle.
As a reminder, on December 18 Nikolai became the first Russian champion in super heavyweight category for all boxing history, winning by decision of judges.
