Biography Gordon, Vladimir Mikhailovich
Born in 1871. (Gordon's father nearly half a century served on judicial department). After graduating from the course at St. Petersburg University, served in the Senate. Later, 2 1 / 2 years was in a scientific mission abroad. He was assistant professor at St. Petersburg University and in the Demidov Lyceum. Since 1903. professor, first at the same school in Yaroslavl, now in Kharkov University. In 1912, Mr.. Petersburg University, was elected to the chair of commercial law, but not approved by the Minister. Main printing works of Gordon are civil process. Of them deserve special attention of his master's thesis Gordon: "cause of action in the change of claims" (Yaroslavl, 1902) and doctorate "Claims for recognition" (Yaroslavl, 1906). Gordon issued an extensive and practical commentary to the Charter of Civil Procedure (5 th ed., St. Petersburg., 1911).
