Biography Gottwald, Joseph Feodorovich
(1813 - 1897), the Slavs of the Prussian Silesia, studied at the University Breslavlskom. Arrived in Russia in 1838, was a librarian in the place of Oriental manuscripts at the Public Library, in 1849 - 1855 he was a professor of Arabic and Persian languages at Kazan University. Later a librarian (1850 - 1897) University Library, a lecturer of English (1859 - 1862) and Chief of the printing house of the University (1857 - 1884).
