Biography Makarov, Mikhail A.
(1827 - 1873). Received artistic training in Kiev, under the leadership Beretti, entered the Academy of Fine Arts, where his mentors were a. Stackenschneider and T. Bosse; in 1857. awarded a small gold medal for the project to drama school belonging to his theater, in 1858, Mr.. Catholic Cathedral of the draft class artist, in 1859, Mr.. Academician. Of the numerous buildings in Petrograd Makarova deserve to be mentioned: home Lopatin (on Nevsky Prospect), . Troynitskogo, . Krundysheva, . Lesnikova, . Bazilevsky, . Thunder, . Antonova, . Paulucci, . clergy of St. Isaac's Cathedral and the monastery of Trinity-Sergiev Lavra, . They drafted a lot of architectural projects and buildings made of his service to the Guardian Council, the building commission under Immediate Office IV E. I. V. Office and in the economic construction of the Petrograd City Commission. The most successful product Makarova may be building Petrograd Commercial College (in Chernyshevsky Lane). For this building and the house Lopatin Makarov received the title of professor.
