Biography NERVE Mark Cocceji (Marcus Cocceius Nerva)
(ca. 30-98) Born in Narnia (sovr. Narni) in Umbria, north of Rome. He has held high positions under Nero (Pretoria, 65, was awarded after uncovering a plot Piso). He was twice consul (in 71 and 90). Notable for erudition, knowledge of law, a tendency to literature, enjoyed great prestige among the Senators.
