Biography Romanus Aquila (Aquila Romanus)
Aquila Romanus, Aquila Romanus, III in. AD, Latin speaker. Author of the treatise on rhetorical figures (De figuris sententiarum et elocutionis), representing, more accurately, excerpts from works by Alexander P. Noumenon, a Greek sophist time of Hadrian (Ser. II in. BC). Example A. quoted from the letters of Cicero, sometimes with errors, as quoted from memory. In V. it hardly took advantage Marcian Capella.
