At the time of the fighting for KцІnigsberg in April 1945, Lieutenant п?.п?. Parents with eight sappers worked in the assault group.
Rapid roll assault team went to the enemy artillery positions. Wasting no time, parents ordered to attack the gunners. In the ensuing hand-fight he destroyed six fascists. Unable to withstand the onslaught of Soviet troops, 25 German soldiers surrendered, the rest fled, leaving the 15 heavy guns. A few minutes later the Nazis attempted to return the abandoned guns. Sappers repulsed three counter-attacks and kept the artillery position until the main forces. In this battle group of engineers under the command of Roditeleva wiped out up to 40 Nazis and captured 15 heavy guns serviceable. The next day, April 8, parents with twelve sappers blew up the bunker of the enemy, the Nazis purged from 6 blocks of the city and captured 200 soldiers and officers.
