Christmas Vsevolod Alexandrovich (1895 - 1977), poet.
Born on March 29 (April 10, NS) in Tsarskoe Selo, received a good education at home. After high school, he entered the historical-philological faculty of St. Petersburg University. The First World War prevented further education - the third course was mobilized into the army. The first Christmas poems were published in "The Pupil" in 1910, the first collection of poems "school years" was released in 1914.
October Revolution took. Attracted by Alexander Blok for publication "World Literature", translated the classics of world literature.
. In 1921 fall collection of poems Christmas "Summer" and "Golden Spindle marked influence acmeism.
. In the following years, publishes collections of poems, "The Great Bear" (1926), "Granite Garden" (1929), "Earthly Heart" (1933), "Window in the Garden" (1939), etc.
