Aldin, Antonio (1755-1826) ALDINI Antonio Joseph - Italian politician. Nephew physicist Galvani. Was a lawyer in Rome, then a professor of law at the University of Bologna. He was one of the leaders of the Italian revolutionaries. Chairman of the Republican Congress in Medene, then chairman of the Council of Elders Cisalpine republic, after Napoleon's victory at Marengo (1800), becomes chairman of its Legislative body.
