Boldyrev, Mikhail Fedorovich (Oct. 1894, near the village of Arkhangelsk Hills Zadonsk - 25.2.1939), statesman. The son of a peasant. Educated in feldsher school. Since 1909 worked as a "boy" in stores Zadonya, Voronezh and Moscow. From 1912 craftsmanship, vagonschik, kamnelom the mines in the Donbass. In 1937 was elected to the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. 2.8.1937 appointed People's Commissar of Health of the USSR, but less than a year later arrested on 16.7.1938. Sentenced to death. Shot. In 1955, rehabilitated.
