Trifonov, Valentin Andreevich (27.8.1888, village Novocherkasskaya Don region - 22.8.1938), one of the leaders of the Soviet Justice. Son Don Cossack. In 1904 joined the RSDLP, Bolshevik. In March 1917 the Secretary of the Bolshevik faction Petrosovsta, Commissioner Basil Island. Since Sept.. 1917 Secretary of the commandant's office in October. member of the General Staff of the Red Guard in Petrograd. In January-March 1918, a member of the All-Russia panel on the organization and management of the Red Army. It was an extraordinary commissioner, formed the Red Army troops in Ukraine, the Donbass, the Urals in December. 1918 - May 1919 Member of the Revolutionary Military Council (PBC), the 3rd Army. In June-July 1919 the commander of a special expeditionary force on the Don, which was created to conduct punitive expeditions against the Cossack population of villages that supported the White.
