Hecht (Geoth) Amon Leopold (December. 1908, Vienna - 1960), war criminal. The son of a military journalist. After school he entered the University of Vienna. In 1925 he joined the Nazi youth movement in Austria. In 1930 joined the NSDAP and the SS. In early 1933, fleeing the persecution of the authorities who illegally crossed the border of the Austro-Germanic, and then became a courier between Munich and Vienna, Austria revising the money, equipment and instructions. Member of the murder of Chancellor of Austria E. Dollfus 1934. He was arrested by the police, but managed to flee to Munich where he worked briefly in the newspaper.
After the Anschluss of Austria, in October. 1938 returned to Vienna, where he served various positions in the PA SS. Autumn of 1944 was arrested on charges of embezzling public funds and corruption and sentenced to imprisonment SS. In 1945, released by U.S. forces and transferred to a POW camp. After the war, was sentenced to a lengthy term in prison.
