TCHAIKOVSKY Boris

Born September 10, 1925, Mr.. Moscow.
Father - Alexander Martynovich Tchaikovsky (1874-1939), an expert on statistics and economic geography. Mother - Tatiana Chaykovskaya (1891-1950), physician.

Studied in secondary school in Daewoo Lane.
The first music teacher was Nicholas L. Slavin. In 1934 B. Tchaikovsky entered Gnessin Music School (teachers - A. Golovin, E. Gnessin, EO Messner). After two years he studied at the Gnessin Musical College (teachers EO Messner, VY Shabalin, E. Gnessin, IV Sposobin, AF Mutli).

Entered the Moscow Conservatory in 1941

In the Conservatory studied composition class of VY Shabalin, Shostakovich, Miaskovsky, studied piano with L. Oborin. He graduated from the Conservatory in 1949.

Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1969). State Prize winner (1969). People's Artist of the USSR (1985)

Professor of the Academy of Music Gnesinyh.
