Biography Akemi Takada
Takada Akemi (p. 31.03.19?, Tokyo) - one of the most famous Japanese character designers and illustrators.
After university, Takada began working artist and character designer at the studio "Tatsunoko Production". Her first work was the TV series "Places Kant" [Ippatsu Kanta-kun] (1977-1978).
After four years of work at the studio Takada went to the "free bread".
Truly Takada glorified work on TV series "Bores aliens" [Urusei Yatsura] (1981-1986) directed by Mamoru Oshii and the studio "Studio Pierrot".
Then followed the work of the two-Macho Shе?jo TV series of the same studio - "Mami Magical Angel Cream" [Mahou no Tenshi Creamy Mami] (1983-1984) and "Magical Idol Pastel Yumi" [Mahou no Idol Pastel Yumi] (1986).
In 1987 he published a landmark for Takada TV series "The vagaries of Orange Street" [Kimagure Orange Road] (1987-1988) studio "Studio Pierrot". Designs of his characters and especially their "extra" graphics, was released with collections of drawings, still remains one of the best works of the artist.
In 1988, Takada took part in the group "Headgear", based Hosea for the development of manga and anime series "Mobile Police Patleybor" [Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor].
