Roger Zelazny (13.05.1937 year - the year 14.06.1995) U.S.
Born May 13, 1937 in a large industrial center of the USA - Cleveland (Ohio).
For ten years he wrote a fairy tale. In 1955 graduated from high school and enrolled at the Cleveland Department of Psychology University of West. Change majors, going to the Department of English slovestnosti. Two years passed on balakavra and moved to Columbia University (New York).

In 1962 the magazine "Amazing Stories" published his first story "The game of passion". During the first seven years from the beginning of his writing, Zelazny won two Hugo Awards and two Nebula.
In 1964 he married Sharon Steberl and soon divorced. After the National Guard, he worked in the social insurance system. In 1965 he was transferred to the service in Baltimore. Here he met Judy Callahan (Judith Alene Callahan), whom he married in 1966.
In 1969, Zelazny left its main job and fully engaged in literature. In 1971 Roger son Devin. In 1975 the writer and his family moved to Santa Fe - capital of a hot New Mexico. In 1976 he became the second son of Jonathan Trent. And then another daughter. It is known that Zelazny some time before his death he lived with Jane Lindskold, with whom he wrote several novels.
Results were published more than 150 stories and 50 books. The best books - "Night in October, depressing," "God of Light" series and "Amber Chronicles". For his book, he received 6 awards Hugo, Nebula 3 awards. Zelazny died of kidney failure associated with cancer June 14, 1995.
