Russian became the world chess champion
In Khanty-Mansiysk ended the world chess championship among juniors up to 20 years). In the male part of the tournament the winner was a Russian grandmaster Mikhail Antipov.
In the final 13th round young citizen of Russia white pieces won the Italian Francesco Rambaldi, and the pole Jan-Krzysztof Duda, who led the entire tournament, black played a draw with the Dutchman Benjamin Sideways. Therefore, Antipov and Duda scored 10 points, but Michael was better than additional features.
As a prize for the 1st place Antipov will receive from the initiators 2.5 thousand Euro. Note that in the top 10 came the next inhabitant of Russia Daniel Uffa, scored eight points and became the 10th place.
In the women's draw 2nd place went to the representative of Russia Alina Bivol. She scored 9.5 from 13 points. The winner of the sensational Ukrainian woman Natalia Buksa - 10 points. Before the tournament Buksa could not be considered as candidates for getting 10. In third place Zhansaya Abdumalik (Kazakhstan) is 9.5.
In the top 10 included another Russian, Alexander Makarenko, who took 8th place (8 points). In the final 13th round, Bivol black pieces beat the Feliz Osmanaga (Germany), and the upper part white played a draw with Azerbaijani Gunay Mammadzade.
