Died the writer and Director of cult horror movie "night of the living dead" George A. Romero. He died on Sunday. He was 77 years old.
Romero called the "father of modern horror films". He died after a "brief but aggressive battle with lung cancer," said his longtime production partner Peter Grunwald. Grunwald said that Romero had died "peacefully in his sleep" while watching "the Quiet man", one of his favourite movies with his wife, Suzanne Desrocher Romero and dochery Tina Romero.
Romero was born in 1940 in new York. His debut with the release of "Night of the living dead" in 1968, which became his first feature film with a budget of $114 thousand . The film, criticized by the press, became a hit among horror fans and lovers of love.
