Russell Crowe is desperate for some time off
The 48-year-old actor - who recently split from wife Danielle Spencer - is unhappy about his crazy schedule that has meant he has spent just 40 days with his sons Charles, eight, and six-year-old Tennyson, this year.
Despite recently completing filming on `Noah`, he is set to go straight to work on `Winter`s Tale` but has vowed not to be so busy in the future.
He tweeted: "Starting on another film set tomorrow. I need to go home & be with my children. Cannot believe how messed up my schedule has become this year. (sic)"
When a follower, a travelling salesman, told him he shared the same problem, Russell added: "I sympathise. I haven`t seen mine since late September. Maybe 40 days with them for the year. Won`t happen again. All the best (sic)"
And the `Gladiator` star`s sons already know how they want to spend time with their father when he returns home.
Russell tweeted: "From my 8 year old last night, he is trying to teach me to play his favourite computer game. "You`ve got a lot to learn when you get home" (sic)"
