The Nobel prize in literature was awarded to Patrick Modiano
The Nobel prize in literature every year, awarded the Nobel Foundation and is one of five prizes established by the will of Alfred Nobel in 1895. The first Nobel prize for literature was awarded to French poet and essayist Rene Francois Urbanpromo. Last year the award was presented by the canadian writer Alice Munro, a year earlier became a laureate Mo Yan.
