Media: Ukraine decided to find out the status of the St. George ribbon
The people's choice of the Verkhovna Rada Mykola Skoryk sent to the head of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsene Avakova Deputy letter with the demand to clarify, is it forbidden in Ukraine, the use of St. George ribbons and banner of Victory during the celebration of may 9, informs Odessa history".
According to people's Deputy, such clarification is necessary to prevent possible provocations and political speculations.
"If George ribbon is not prohibited by current legislation of Ukraine, ensure whether the structural unit of the Ministry of interior of Ukraine, security and protection of Residents who would like to use the ribbon as a symbol of Victory in the great Patriotic war during the celebration?" - it is reported in the statement Skoryk.
