Kuzin (1928-1997) is one of the founders of modern cybernetics and information science in Russia. After receiving the degree of Doctor of Science in industrial research, he began working in the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, at a time when Russia was a bit of specialists in the field of cybernetics. A few years later he organized a department of cybernetics and became chairman of the Section of Applied Problems of Cybernetics at the Moscow House of Scientific and Technical Propaganda (MDNTP). Around the same time, he became the leader of the project by the Bank of the USSR Academy of Sciences, . gathering a few groups of researchers to solve the problem of computational models to the field of databases and knowledge bases, . out pioneering research in the field of artificial intelligence,
. He was awarded the USSR State Prize for outstanding contribution to the development of technical cybernetics and research in key technologies. In recent years he has developed computational models of geometric and algebraic methods, developing their applications in various fields of computer science and information technology.
