Boerhave-Kaau (Abraham Kaau-Boerhaave)

younger brother of Hermann Kaau-Boerhaave, born in 1715 in Gaga. Medical education in Leiden under the guidance of renowned professors and his uncle Herman Boerhave-Kaau. Doctor of Medicine is recognized for his thesis "De scirrho". Delivered at the Latin language speech "De gaudiis alchimistarum" gave him the title of the Imperial Academy of Sciences. The recommendation of his brother in 1746, Mr.. Boerhave-Kaau was determined by a doctor at the hospital the Admiralty, and the death of the famous Veytbrehta won the Academy Department of Anatomy and Physiology. Numerous written an excellent Latin, his writings show that Boerhave-Kaau was one of the most educated and hardworking doctors of his time. Despite deafness, Boerhave-Kaau had an excellent practice in the capital. He died in St. Petersburg July 14, 1758, Mr.. Most of the works Boerhave-Kaau printed in editions of the Academy of Sciences.
