Kaufman, Nikolai Nikolaevich

(1834 - 1870). While studying at Moscow University, he was fascinated by brilliant lectures of Professor Rul'e. In 1860, Mr.. received a chair at the same university. His main research enterprise was to study the little-known at the time of the Moscow flora; result of almost a decade of his works in this field was the study: "Moscow flora" (in 1889. second edition).
