Biography Kurochkin Nikolay Stepanovich
(1830 - 1884). He graduated from the course in Medical-Surgical Academy. Sharing the work on the editorial board of Iskra and his brother Basil (cm. above), placed in her many poems, original and translated. In 1865 - 1866 years edited the "Illustration" Bauman. Since 1868. became a permanent member of Fatherland Notes', which appeared his important studies: "Western science on Russian soil," "European science at home," "Henri Rochefort and his lantern," "Years of Proudhon and other. Already close to death, Kurochkin composing verse satire and funny parody (under pseudonyms Grasshopper, etc.), printed in the Observer.
