Adopted son of the largest British astrologer XVII in. William Lilly. In 1644, Mr.. narrowly escaped death from the plague. He was married twice (in 1655 and 1660), from each marriage he had on child. K. lived in Bolduins Gardens, Gray's Inn Lane, where it was published most of his works. To. also belongs to translate 147 aphorisms of "Liber Astronomiae" Guido BONANTE into English under the title "The Astrologer's Giude: Anima Astrologiae" (1676). This book had a great influence on British astrology.

The first issue of the almanac (ephemeris) K. released in 1672, and after the death of Lilly in 1681, Mr.. it took over the rights to publish even more famous anthology "Merlini Anglici Ephemeris" (which was published for 36 years), K. continued his release without changing the name, adding only the words "according to the method of Mr. Lilly. Since 1677, Mr.. K. Lilly was the personal secretary, who then started to feel bad because of illness. In 1683, Mr.. K. issued the "Great and amazing prophecies of the famous astrologer William Lilly, Mr. Partridge and Mr Cole for the current year". Some historians suggest that K. died about 1695, because after this year is not aware of any issue of his almanac.
