. Brown-Sekar founded in Paris 'Journal of Human and Animal Physiology' ( 'Journal de la Physiologie de l'homme et des animaux', 1858-1863) and the 'Archives of normal and pathological physiology' ( 'Archives de Physiologie normale et pathologique', 1868-1894)
. In addition, in New York in 1873 founded the journal 'Archives of scientific and practical medicine' ( 'Archives of Scientific and Practical Medicine'). In 1887 became president of the Biological Society. Brown-Sekar died in Paris on 1 April 1894.
