Biography Henry Hull (Hallam Henry)
(1777-1859) Born in Windsor, July 9, 1777. He was educated at Eton and Christ Church College at Oxford University, for several years practiced as a lawyer. Father's death in 1812, Hallam had inherited a considerable fortune and decided to devote himself to historical research. The first is the work of the Review of the state of Europe during the Middle Ages (A View of the State of Europe During the Middle Ages, . 1818) won the scientific reputation, . which was consolidated after-work constitutional history of England from Henry VII to the death of George II (Constitutional History of England from the Accession of Henry VII to the Death of George II, . 1827) - attempts a holistic interpretation of British political institutions, . Known work Hellama Introduction to European literature 15, 16 and 17 centuries (Introduction to the Literature of Europe During the 15th, 16th and 17th Centuries, 1838-1839). Hallam died in Pensherste (Kent) on 21 January 1859.
