Biography VARLAMOV Valentin
Soviet pilot. Born August 15, 1934. After graduating from the Aviation College he served in parts of the Air Forces of the USSR. In 1960 enlisted in the cosmonaut (1960 Group of the Air Force? 1). Trained to fly on ships such as 'East'. In 1961, he was forced to leave the cosmonaut for medical reasons (the displacement of the cervical vertebrae as a result of injury).
In subsequent years he worked in the Cosmonaut Training Center: Under the command post of the Chief of Space Flight, senior instructor training space. Tragically died Oct. 2, 1980 (home slipped in the bathroom, badly hit his head on the tile and died of a brain haemorrhage).
