Professor of Hydrogeology (1987), Head of the Laboratory for Engineering Geodynamics and protection of geological environment (1982-1984) of the geological department.

Research interests: Hydrogeochemistry. Author of works on Hydrogeochemistry and geochemistry of groundwater, as the theoretical basis of their management. Organizes physical and chemical conditions of formation of the chemical composition of groundwater, studies of geological and hydrogeological conditions of manifestation gidrogeoprotsessov, organizes breed by nature of their interaction with groundwater. Develops methods hydrogeochemical studies, hydrogeochemical data processing methods, technique hydrogeochemical mapping of large areas and cities. Explores regional hydrogeochemical patterns, . natural and anthropogenic factors of spatial changes in chemical composition of groundwater, . systematizing groundwater under the terms of the formation of the chemical composition of various structural, geological and landscape-climatic environments,
