Biography Henrik Sigfrid (Henrici)
Henrik, Siegfried (Henrici), Lieutenant General Germanic army. Born November 11, 1889 in Zeist, Westphalia. In 1907 joined the imperial army. After the 1-st World War, resigned, and held various positions in the Prussian Ministry of Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 1935 he returned to the army. June 1, 1939 he was awarded the rank of Major General. In 1940 Henrik commanded the 12 th Army Corps on the Western Front. In 1941-43 with the rank of Lieutenant General - Commander of 43 Army Corps and 4-th Army on the Eastern Front. In 1944-45 Henrik commanded the 1 st Panzer Army, to March 1945 commanded the Western Army Group, covering the Berlin. April 28, 1945 Henrik led the 3rd Panzer Army. After the 2-nd World War, Henrik was convicted by the International Military Tribunal for war crimes and imprisoned.
