Biography Yoshitaka Amano
Amano Yoshitaka (p. 28/03/1952, Shizuoka Prefecture) - one of the most famous Japanese artists and designers.

From childhood Amano loved to paint. His older brother worked at the paper mill and brought home for brothers huge rolls of paper, which he immediately covered the drawings. In 1967, travel in Tokyo, Amano has brought some of his works at the studio "Tatsunoko Production"

His work is well liked, . that he once took a course in the studio and a year of training he began working in "Tatsunoko Production" character designer, . taking part in the creation, . example, . a series, . as "team of scientists Ninja Gatchamen" [Kagaku Ninja-Tai Gatchaman] (1972-1974) and many other serials that this studio,
. But in 1982, when he turned 30, he decided to "go to voluntary bread" and become an independent artist.

Amano quickly became known as NF-talented artist and illustrator. Already in 1984 he published his first collection of drawings - "The Universe of Evil" [Maten], and illustrated his book apart enormous circulations. Among them - "D - Vampire Hunter" [Kyuketsuki Hunter D] Hideyuki Kikuchi, "Chronicle of war Arslan" [Arslan Senki] Tanaka Yoshiki and "Chimera" [Kimera] Yumemakura Baku.

In 1984, Amano and Mamoru Oshii in the studio "Studio Deen" created a cult anime film "Angel's Egg" [Tenshi no Tamago].

In the second half of 1980 talent Amano was much in demand in another area - the creation of video games. His first project - "Final Fantasy" [Final Fantasy] (1987) - also became a cult hit and spawned many sequels and imitations, achieving not only Japanese but also international success. He participated in the creation of games such as "Front Mission", "Gun Hazard", "Rebus", "Emblem of Eru" and many others (including a character designer game series "Final Fantasy").

Amano also publishes collections of drawings, creating designs of costumes for the kabuki.

In 1997 he moved to New York starting embedded in the American art world. In 1998 he co-authored with composer David Newman and directed by Yukio Sonoyamoy produced musical 3D-anime "1001 Nights" [1001 Nights] - the first large-scale film project kinomuzykalnogo Philharmonic Los Angeles.

Creativity Amano of diversity and unbridled imagination. Unlike many of the creators of anime and manga, it is - it is an artist who knows how to tell complex stories without words, and send in the details subtle overtones of meaning picture.
