Biography Ilya ILF Arnoldovich
Real name - Ilya Arnoldovich Fainzil'berg, Russian writer, who worked together with Yevgeny Petrov (pseudonym, real name - Evgeny Petrovich Kataev). The author of famous novel "The Golden Calf" and "The Twelve Chairs. Born in Odessa on Oct. 15, 1897. After graduating in 1913, a technical school was a draftsman, he worked at the telephone exchange, the aircraft factory, was a statistician, member of the newspaper "Seaman, the editor of a humorous magazine Sindetikon". In 1923, he moved to Moscow and became a professional writer. He wrote mainly in creative cooperation with E. Petrov. Always worked in the newspaper "Hooter". Died April 12, 1937.
