Biography Saenger Nikolai Karlovich
(d. 1877). He graduated from the course at Moscow University, was the curator of the Zoological Museum of Moscow University, who with his help significantly enriched (meeting animals from the White Sea, Baltic and German). Placed in "Proceedings of the Moscow Society of Naturalists:" On the larva Gracilaria syringella in the leaves of lilac "(1866, t. III), "On the spider genus Latrodectes, brought from the Crimea" (ibid.), "On the insects found in the stale flour" (ibid.), "On the slug, damaging winter fields' (t. XXIV, Issue 2), etc.. In "Proceedings of the II Congress of Natural Scientists" published article "On the Baltic representatives of Gephyrea: Halieryptus and Priapulus" and "Peripatus Capensis and Peripatus Leuckartii

Zenger Nikolai Karlovich born in Moscow in 1841 in the owner's family court pharmacies Karl Petrovich Zenger and his wife Catherine Ilyinichna, born in Cuba. With a gold medal and the right of admission to the Moscow University without exams finished 4-th Moscow school. After graduation, he was elected superintendent of the Zoological Museum. He was a member of the Moscow Society of Naturalists. Actively participated in the creation of the Polytechnic Museum in Moscow (his portrait is in the museum and the Museum of the museum), for which he was awarded several government awards. He was elected secretary of the Polytechnical Museum. Wife - Nadezhda von Toll. Buried at Vvedenskoye (German) Cemetery in Moscow. Monument - from the Society of Naturalists. |
