Murat Zyazikov

Murat Zyazikov was born in 1957 in the town of Osh, Kirgiz SSR.

By nationality - Ingush.

In 1980 he graduated from the Chechen-Ingush State University as a historian.
In 1984 he graduated from higher courses of the KGB in Minsk.
From 1984 to 1996 he worked in various positions in the state security bodies of the Chechen-Ingushetia, and then Ingushetia. He started as junior security officer to the deputy chief of the district department of FSB.
From January 1996 to January 28, 2002 he was deputy chief of FSB of Russia in the Astrakhan region.

He was awarded two medals of courage and medals.
