Biography SHARIPOV Salizhan Shakirovich
Astronaut Russia. Born August 24, 1964 in the town of Uzgen, Osh oblast of the Kyrgyz Soviet Socialist Republic (now the Republic of Kyrgyzstan). In 1982 he graduated from high school in the town of Uzgen and entered the Military Aviation School. After graduating from college in 1987, worked as an instructor pilot. During work taught to fly 8 x Cadets. Mastered flying MiG-21 and L-39. Has about 950 total flight hours. In 1990 he was enrolled in the detachment of Soviet cosmonauts (1990 Group of the Air Force? 10).
It has been fully trained to fly on spacecraft of the Soyuz TM "and orbital station" Mir ". Since 1992, the group trained for space flight as commander of Soyuz TM. Without a job in the Cosmonaut Training Center Gagarin, in 1994, graduated from Moscow State University, "Cartography". Married, wife - Hope Mavlanovna Sharipov. They have a son and daughter.
