Biography Elizabeth von TABD (Thadden)
Thadden, Elisabeth von (Thadden), (1890-1944), the anti-Hitler movement. Born July 29, 1890 in Morungene, East. Prussia (now Morag, Poland), the son of chairman of the City Council. In 1927 he founded the Protestant board in the Schloss-Viblingene, near Heidelberg. Took part in the activities of the Red Cross, joined the resistance movement. September 10, 1943 after being denounced, was arrested by the Gestapo. People's Tribunal sentenced her to death, and September 8, 1944 Thadden was executed, her last words were: "Put an end, Lord, all our suffering!".
