Iris Murdoch

Iris Murdoch was born in Dublin in 1919. Later the family moved to London, where the writer and lived his entire life. Murdoch University education was at Oxford, later she also graduated from Cambridge. Shortly after the Second World War (from 1948), Murdock turned to teaching at Oxford and at St Anne's College at the same university, where she taught a course in existential philosophy. In this regard, the entry of existential motifs in the works of writer does not seem random, as was the direction of existentialism, which Murdock was well known and ideas that divided.
