Lion Feuchtwanger (Feuchtwanger Lion)

(1884-1958)
Born July 7, 1884 in Munich. He studied at the universities of Munich and Berlin, where he studied philosophy, but early enough, turned to the literature. Having made several trips, written during the First World War, several anti-war plays, which were banned. Among his later works - Weapons for the Americas (Waffen fr Amerika, 1947-1948), Goya (Goya, 1951), Eccentric Wisdom (Narrenweisheit, 1952) and the Spanish ballad (Spanische Ballade, 1956). Feuchtwanger died in Los Angeles on Dec. 21, 1958.
