Biography AHLESTYSHEV Mikhail Fedorovich
AHLESTYSHEV Mikhail Fedorovich (1778-1829), Major-General. 1797 g. - Entered in the sub-ensigns Transfiguration Regiment 1798. - Warrant. 1805. - Wounded at Austerlitz. 1807 g. - Fought with the French under Heilsberg and Friedland. 1810 g. - Colonel transfer to the Narva Infantry Regiment. Participated in the Russian-Turkish War. He was wounded in the unsuccessful assault Ruschuka. During the Battle of Batina awarded a gold sword. Participated in the siege and capture of the fortress Sistovo and Nikopol. 1811 g. - For the differences in Ruschuke Slobozia and appointed chief of the 39 th regiment of Chasseurs. 1812. - Participated in the battles of Kovel, Lyuboml and head, and Gornostaevichi Volkovysk. 1813. - Participated in the battles of Chelm, Lublin, Czestochowa was awarded the Order of Sts. George 4-th class. Under Bautzen shot, wounded. Leipzig seriously wounded and sent for treatment in Galle. December 20, 1813, Mr.. promoted to Major-General. In 1814, Mr.. participated in the siege of Metz and was wounded again. Since September 1814, Mr.. commanded a brigade hunter. He retired because of wounds in 1828, Mr.. Buried in Moscow Cemetery Savior Andrew's Convent.
