Biography Luis Bunuel (Buuel Luis)
(1900-1983) Born February 22, 1900 in the city Kalanda (Spain). In 1917 entered the University of Madrid. His cinema career began in 1920. In 1925 went to Paris, where he, together with Dali made a film An Andalusian Dog (Un Chien Andalou, 1928) and The Golden Age (L'Age d'Or). With these pictures in his work established figurative surrealistic world of dreams. In 1930, fleeing the persecution of the fascist regime, Buц?uel immigrated to the U.S.. In 1932-1947 he did not put any game full-length picture. However, in 1947 with the move to Mexico in the works of Buц?uel, a new stage.
